Description: This is new old stock (NOS.) It is an older version of the set and the bits were made in Italy. The current version sells for $142, has a different box and is made in China. These are 1/2" shank router bits, so intended for larger routers. I bought these years ago, thinking that I'd eventually upgrade from my 1/4" router, but it turns out that I'm not doing enough woodworking these days to justify it. These still had the original grease/wax coating on the shafts and it had dried out. I removed it and added some Super Lube grease to protect them from oxidation. I initially got a little carried away scrubbing the old stuff off and scuffed the shaft of the one marked 857-502, so the logo and the tool numbers and hard to read on that bit only.
