Description: CMON Comics Vol 2 Cthulhu Death May Die: A Touch Of Providence + Extras Game Box At the top of the Turk’s Head Building in Providence, the stars are almost right. Cultists bent on summoning the Great Old One, Yog-Sothoth need one final ritual item—a 17-year-old kid named Seamus. Seamus hasn’t had a normal life. As a boy, he read the diary of one Wilbur Whatley and its strange tale imprinted on his subconscious. The dead man’s thoughts haunt him daily. Meanwhile, unknown to Seamus, Jack Muñoz, one of his oldest friends, also hunts for him. Can he still trust his old friend or is time running out for Seamus? Is his death already written in the alien stars above? Seamus just needs a little providence to come his way. Much like its predecessor Flight or Flight, A Touch of Providence, the 2nd volume of Cthulhu: Death May Die comics, counts with a team of amazingly talented and well established writers and artists, including Luca Enoch (script), Alfio Buscaglia (art), Paolo Francescutto (coloring), Antonio Esposito (lettering), Stefan Kopinski (cover art), Stefano Vietti (editing), Francesco Nepitello and Umberto Pignatelli (story), and Matteo Brembilla (graphic design). This 112-page hardcover graphic novel takes place 5 years after the events of volume 1 and follows a familiar character, Jack Muñoz, in his search of his friend Seamus, a brilliant and gifted boy who disappeared under mysterious circumstances, at the request of the boy's stepmother. This bundle also brings 2 brand-new exclusive episodes into Death May Die: The Lost Episodes 8 and 9. In A Ritual of Blood and Fire (Season 1 required), investigators suddenly find themselves in the middle of a dark ritual taking place in a burning mansion while pursuing a strange creature through a passage. To make things worse, this particular summoning ritual makes use of several occult sources, which means that, to disrupt it, all of them must be destroyed. At the start of the game, each investigator receives 1 random assignment token listing a specific tasks that must be completed in order to face a vulnerable Elder One, such as release 3 victim companions or kill 4 cultists. If an investigator dies before they are able to finish their task, which would be hard enough even without all the fire, the game is immediately lost. The Cursed Boy episode (Season 3 required) follows the plot of A Touch of Providence, in which a mysterious cult seeks to sacrifice a gifted boy in order to complete their ritual, and it is up to the investigators to find and protect the boy at all cost.
