Description: Here's a CLEAN (no marks on the cabinet/cover) TR7. It transmits and receives well on all bands. The video shows it transmitting on 20 and 10M. As you can see in the video, the only problem is on 10M where the power supply I was using was really sagging (meter light dimming too!), with a voltage drop causing the frequency to become unstable on voice peaks. Nothing wrong with the radio, just my bench PS! It does the same thing on other radios on xmit so maybe it's time to get a better PS! Smooth tuning. No dead segments in the readout. No change was noted when the noise blanker was engaged. Maybe not the right "type" of noise around here or ?? The blanker is the newer version (not 7A newest!), however. The radio has 3 filters, the standard SSB filter, a narrow 1800Hz SSB and a narrow 300Hz CW. The cabinet as I said, shows no wear marks/scratches (NOS or original???), BUT, as with a LOT of older 7-series radios/accessories, the side trim pieces have end chips. You can get new ones on eBay for about $20. Thanks to ebay/PayPal's current draconian policies regarding returns, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working. Also, thanks to the same policies, we will no longer ship directly to any country other than the US. Any overseas buyers must buy thru the ebay shipping program. Everything is sold AS-IS; NO WARRANTIES offered on anything. The purchaser, upon receipt, might not agree as to our assessment of condition, but that's what it was HERE and it's being sold officially for parts or not working. It may or may not work at all when you get it! NO RETURNS or REFUNDS! If you do not agree with these terms DO NOT BUY IT!
