Description: Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing. This is Kuniharu Nobe 1965 Vintage Natural Classical Acoustic Guitar. Nobe Guitars are known for being the work of one of Japan's three greatest master craftsmen, Nobe Shoji, and the maker of this guitar, Nobe Kuniharu, is the elder brother of Nobe Shoji. His students include Kazuo Kato, who is currently active in Germany, and Okita Masakazu of Okita Guitars. There is a 13-year age difference between Shoji and Kuniharu, and it is said that Shoji has been involved in guitar making since he was in high school, so he learned the basics from his brother Kuniharu. There were many guitars made by Nobe Shoji, so they are quite common on the second-hand market, but there are far fewer guitars made by Nobe Kuniharu than there are by Shoji, and guitars from the 1960s are even rarer.
