The classic Marvel Comics G.I. Joe gets new life in this first collection of must-have Joe stories! Writer Larry Hama, the man irrevocably linked to G.I. Joe, guided the team for over ten years (and he returns to the characters next month in an all-new series!). Here, he is joined by an array of artists, including Herb Trimpe, Mike Vosburg, and Don Perlin. I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in very good condition, with a solid spine and excellent overall inside pages (photo#14 example). It has few and lesser signs of primarily external wear. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Some scuffing. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Light scuffing. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: Little if any shelf-wear/scuffing.-Outer corner: Light ~1" indent around the corner. Small crease/scuff/bend at corner itself, goes thru ~2/5 as a light bend. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Small scuff/indent towards outer corner, light ~1/2" scuff towards spine corner, otherwise little if any shelf-wear/scuffing.-Outer corner: Light ~3/4" indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/4 pages as a small bend. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Little if any shelf-wear/scuffing. -Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~8 pages as a light bend. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: 4 small scuffs towards spine corner, otherwise little if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Tiny indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~8 pages as a light indent, and thru ~1/4 as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses a ~1/2" crease/depression near the spine edge (photo#10 w/illumination). Light ~1/2" indent/depression towards the bottom outer corner (photo#11 w/illumination), shows as a light indent on ~20 pages. Front cover has light cover lifts at the outer corners (photo#12).
