Description: ***** GONE WITH THE WIND SIGNED FRAMEWORK BY CLARK GABLE AND OLIVIA de HAVILLAND ***** Description: This spectacular time piece was boldly signed by Clark Gable and Olivia de Havilland at the time of the Movie premiere for the mega success "Gone With The Wind" December 15-16, 1939. The two original photos reverse were glued to an old scrapbook page that reads : (word missing) - Rhett Butler Premiere of "Gone With the Wind" Atlanta, GA, December 16, 1939. We were lucky enough to preserve the scrapbook piece for Clark Gable still attached to the original handwritten notes, do not have the notes for Olivia de Havilland. We are also selling other signed photos from the same event including Carole Lombard and Claudette Colbert, SEE OTHER LISTINGS date on all of them is December 16, 1939. We believe it to be the day they were all glued to the scrapbook pages. This 1/1 framework also includes an Oversize Premiere Ticket for "Gone With The Wind". This is an *Extremely Rare original *unused Matinee Ticket for the first run performance on May 2, 1940 at the famous Rialto Theater in Missouri Valley, Iowa. (approx 4 x 1) Gone With The Wind had its world premiere at the Loew's Grand Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia on Dec 15, 1939.It then went on the biggest most successful road show tour of the United States in motion picture history. From December 1939 to July 1940, the film played only advance-ticket road show engagements at a limited number of theaters at prices upwards of $1—more than double the price of a regular first-run feature.
