Description: CL Bernadotte Thun Czech Porcelain Sonata Rose 2.5" Demitasse Cup & Saucer 1968 Click images to enlarge Description CL Concordia Lesov Bernadotte Thun Bohemian Czech Porcelain "Sonata" Yellow Rose Relief Scrolling 2 1/2" Demitasse 3oz Cup & Saucer Set 1968-1991 This one is in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks and No Crazing. Very Nice Thun Bohemian Czech porcelain demitasse cup and saucer set. This has a big yellow rose center design. The cup & saucer have gold rims with relief scrolling around. This is in the Sonata Yellow Rose Pattern. The cup holds 3 ounces. The base has the CL Crown backstamp used from 1968 to 1991. The cup measures 2 1/2" High x 2 7/8" Wide rim to rim and the saucer measures 4 5/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this cup and saucer set. COMPANY HISTORY: The Concordia Lesov company has a long history starting in 1888. The Bohemian Concordia Lesov (Lessau) porcelain factory was founded in 1888 by Ernst Mader. In 1904 it was taken over by Kühnel & Co. The next owners were Tichy & Schönfeld. They managed the factory till ca. 1916. The ownership was then transferred to Gebrüder (brothers) Paris located in Oberköditz (Thuringia), who owned it till 1919. In next years owners were first Gebrüder Löw and later Winterling & Co. After World War II, the factory became a part of Karlovarský Porcelán. In 1946 the factory burned down but it was rebuilt next year. In 2009, it was bought by the company Thun.
