Enfield Black Leather Catridge Box in Excellent Condition with just a few scratches from my 20 years in Reenacting and Extras Civil War Movie work. Standard Shoulder Straps are only 64 to 66 inches long & cost $65 extra. It has an implement pouch on the inside front for holding the Nipple Wrench and carrying extra Cap Nipples in case yours gets clogged in the middle of a battle reenactment. The Inner Leather Flap is stamped "RICHMOND", the only markings on the Cartridge Box the same as originals. The back of one end of the leather shoulder strap is marked 42B-50 for 42nd Georgia Volunteer Infantry Regt./Co. B/Private #50. Under the Large Front Flap is marked 42B-50-G.W. for 42nd Georgia Volunteer Infantry Regt./Co. B/Private #50/Soldier's Initials. This is how all Georgia Regiments in the Division marked their leather accoutrements for quick identification and to avoid arguments over who owned the accoutrements.
