Description: Where does one begin to describe this treasure! The Circa 1900’s wooden stool is certainly vintage and surely an antique. It hung around the old milking barn until rescued and painted light blue in the late '80s. The paint is wearing off again to show its coats of many colors; yellow, white, green and perhaps a few more. Early painters were certainly not worried about drips which adds to the ambience of the vintage piece. The stool measures 18" high and the round seat is approximately 13 inches across. The stool has cracks in the seat and the legs are worn from decades of use in the dairy barn. The glides were added, probably during the final painting. This lovely old piece is nostalgic of days gone by and would make a delightful plant stand for the kitchen or porch. The saying is a picture is worth a thousand words so please view all the photos as they do serve as part of the full description. Ships only to the Continental USA.
