Description: ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s inn key fob from the historic Brown Square House in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Built in 1801 by shipbuilder and merchant Moses Brown, Brown Square House is a stately federal building which now contains the Garrison Inn. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The oval fob is numbered 25. VINTAGE: Circa 1890s. SIZE: Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-5/16" in width. MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass. ATTACHMENT: Hole. MARKINGS: 25 ITEM NOTES: This is from a watch and key fob collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
