The cover is covered in an attractive printed fabric of colorful Christmas red poinsettias with green leaves and a mosaic of gold pattern. The inside cover material is a red flannel fabric. The tie is a gold cord. I clipped a lovely red poinsettia in the front. The main pages are coffee-stained vintage papers. Other pages are vintage stationary, and papers of parchment. Some designer scrapbook paper, cardstock, imported handmade papers, book pages, and more. This journal has lots of creativity keeping in mind the many colors and characteristics of this season of the year and its many beautiful aspects. There are tags, bands, tucks, envelopes, cards, inserts, photos, and bookmarks. Surprises tucked here and there. This journal is a good size to write in or use to display. Excellent for journaling, writing, drawings or to set as a unique coffee table piece where pages are informative and creative. A fun, work of art, a book to share with friends and family. Plenty of pages for your thoughts and ephemera. Some handmade paper- cool colors, sizes, and textures, vintage papers, scrapbook designer papers, and lovely original digital downloads. Carefully chosen pictures from my library, vintage/contemporary collection. There are specially chosen poems and beautiful prints of famous Christmas-winter paintings. There are recipes, songs, and other art that go with the theme. Decorated journaling tags, envelopes, and bands, with vintage cord, old lace, string, ribbon, beads, vintage buttons, yarn, fasteners, specially selected charms, and much more. Dangles of charms and lots of beads, unikite, amethyst, garnet, jade, aventurine, quartz, Italian onyx and black onyx, coral, turquoise, mother of pearl and freshwater pearls, silver beads, glass beads, other semi-precious beads, Czech crystals, strung beads. There is a special feature of a long string of beads with an old book page incorporated in it, with a long hanging red quartz crystal.
