They will keep looking great wash after wash. They are machine-quilted with a wavy design. The quilting helps the layers stay together and last longer, especially with each washing. You get two different looks in one. They would be a great addition to any home this Xmas time of year. They also make a great housewarming gift! They are lined with an extra layer of cotton Fabric to add a little weight and prolong durability and shape. I like the cotton fabric in the middle instead of quilt batting. Quilt batting just makes it too bulky and thick. Your dishes could topple over. All the fabrics are high-quality 100% cotton fabric that I pre-wash. Pre-washing makes them all shrink so that when I make them they all end up the same size. It also keeps them from puckering after being washed so that one fabric doesn't shrink more than the other. I can machine wash and dry them like any other laundry. Place setting not included.
