Description: What a fabulous find! A HUGE and magnificent drape, made of top of line, heavy decorator fabric from GREEFF. This is the pattern MAGOLIA, from the Historic Savannah Collection. The fabric has a faille (tiny ribs) weave, in rayon and cotton blend with nice texture. Upholstery Drapery weight, with rich colors of reds, creams and greens. this is a larger scale pattern that really POPS! I thought about using it for a duvet cover but changed my color scheme, and am offering it here. This was never sold to the general public and is a true "to the trade only" fabric. The drape was custom made for a large realtor company, used only for a few months in the 1990s as a display in a gorgeous mansion in Virginia, to dress up the room before putting the house on the market. It is is in excellent, clean condition, no fade, no wear or soiling or spots, no tears, like new. It is long out of print and is scarce to find today. The fabric retailed for over $120 per yard at the time, and there is a LOT of it here. The drape on one side has a flange of red and cream checkered fabric, not sure how that was hung. The piece measures 95" on the 2 sides, and 88" on the other 2 sides. All sides are hemmed or have piping. Kept the price a bit lower to offset the shipping costs for the heavy large package.
