Description: Nice, original US press of CHRIS MCGREGOR'S BROTHERHOOD OF BREATH LP on RCA's progressive imprint, Neon. A rare, non-folk, Joe Boyd Witchseason production, as Joe was a fan of the South African/based-in-London group having seen them on the circuit often. Robert Wyatt was also a fan, as I'm sure Soft Machine and Brotherhood of Breath shared the occasional bill, or Wyatt caught them at Ronnie Scott's club. Wyatt was friendly with BOB trumpet player Mongezi Feza (who played many excellent sessions) and, in particular, used him to create that striking "forest of trumpets" on "Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road" from ROCK BOTTOM. Gatefold jacket is VG (please see photos); some general storage and ringwear. Record is NM and doesn't look to have been played much if at all.
