The plate interior depicts an outdoor scene with a white chicken walking in the grass in the foreground. Fanciful red, blue and yellow flowering plants with butterflies in the background. The reverse rim has red bamboo and the high foot is decorated in a red bamboo design. Based on the design, style and techniques of production this plate was made 1880-1900. Aside from glaze grazing and light oxidation this plate is in as made condition with no chips or cracks. Please study the photographs, they are part of the description.
