Description: This is the most exquisite hollow carved piece I have ever seen. Made of resin cast, which could be the reason it can present so many complicated carving elements. There are two Chinese dragons in their typical vivid gesture surrounding a Chinese character “longevity” (寿）in the center. As in all other antique and vintage Chinese pieces, the auspicious is an eternal theme. The box is footed with dragon paws at four corners, along with the beautiful dragon head reliefs on both sides. Beautiful design. There was a fabricating mark on the bottom however hard to tell what it is. The box could be used for anything you like to store into. In my opinion, in additional to storing the chopsticks, jewelries, it can also be used as a pencil case, fragrance potpourri , etc. It will definitely add a great oriental accent to your home if you are an oriental lover. It measures 10 3/4” long x 3 5/8” wide x 2 1/4” tall.
