Description: Antique Chinese export porcelain Daoist immortals symbolizing harmony and mirth known as HEHE ERXIAN TWINS both happily seated on a rock, one with lotus flower on shoulder, the other holding a bat within an open box. Circa likely late Qing to early Republic period. A felt protective lining firmly adhered to the base conceals marks. Approximate height 28 cm., width 18 cm., depth 9.5 cm. Estate fresh as shown in very good condition with a few small areas of minor wear to the enamel including a small enamel only flake on top of one head. Iron spots within white area of the head provide further evidence to age. Otherwise, no chips, cracks, or blemishes are noted.
