Description: Pictured is an original 1942 lobby card from the 20th Century Fox movie, "China Girl" starring Gene Tierney, George Montgomery, Victor McLaglen and Lynn Bari. The WWII spy drama is about a neutral newsreel photographer, Johnny (George Montgomery) in occupied China before the Pearl Harbor attack. He is kidnapped by the Japanese who want him to photograph the Burma Road. Johnny escapes from jail with the help of two Westerners, Captain Fifi (Lynn Bari) and Major Bull Weed (Victor McLaglen) who claim to be working with the Chinese rebel forces. After fleeing to Mandalay, Johnny meets a beautiful Eurasian girl (Gene Tierney) who warns him that Fifi and Bull are actually spies for the Japanese. Johnny also discovers he has come away with secret Japanese documents regarding a planned attack. With further plot twists and lots of action Johnny joins sides with the Flying Tigers. The film also goes by the name of "Burma Road" and "A Yank in China". This is an authentic studio issued U.S. 11" x 14" lobby card - not a reproduction or poster print. The condition is very good with no tears, tape, holes or stains and a small owner's stamp on the back. There is minor edge and corner wear. Please see pictures.
