Description: China - a cover sent from Peking, China to New York by Registered Mail. Uses 4 postage stamps. Has a rubber stamp U.S. Customs, Free of Duty. Postmarked at Peking 1928, and on the back side another postmark as well as New York postmarks. The cover is about 6" across x 5" high. The company sending the cover is CHIC DE PARIS, East Legation Street, Peking, Robes - Manteaux - Chapeaux. Very good / fine condition, opened at the top. a some bends at the corners, and bottom, ink stain on back side, wrinkle / crease. Overall a nice early cover for the specialist collector.
