Description: This auction is is for 2 items: 1 - The original Cover art from Chic Young’s Dagwood 129 2 - CGC 9.0 issue of Dagwood 129. I bought these together so I could get an original cover that I could afford, and to have the issue that it was used on, to see how the art was used. The artwork shows that more was created for the cover than was actually visible in the final cover, both with Blondie’s back leg and the amount of the street car that Dagwood is hanging onto. This is from 1962 and was published by Harvey Publications, with Dagwood and Blondie in the art. According to Comics.org, Chic Young is the script and artist for the Dagwood/Blondie stories inside, but the artist is not specified for the cover.
