CHIC Vintage 1980s Stonewashed Denim Jeans-Pleated-Costume-Miss Sz 16 (31-45-28)

Description: This is a pair of authentic 1980s vintage CHIC brand stonewashed denim jeans! These jeans were made in the U.S.A. of 100% cotton--remember that our 1980s jeans didn't have the stretch spandex added, so these will not have the "give" that modern women's jeans do. Also, sizing was different then, so while these are labeled as a size 16 average, the actual measurements are 30-31" waist, about 45" at the widest part of the hips only (just below end of zipper), and about 28" inseam. You will want to check your own body measurements and make sure yours are less than these amounts. These jeans have stitched-down pleats in the front below the front yoke, front pockets, and no back pockets below the back yoke. I did machine wash these jeans but air-dried them. So the stonewashed denim has some yellowish/light brownish areas that will sometimes happen with air-drying lighter fabrics, and these are stonewashed with bleached areas overall. The yellow/brownish spots could also be foxing, which happens with age to some fabrics, papers, and books. Please look closely at the photos for this! I would recommend washing them again and maybe machine drying them this time. However, the areas are not all that noticeable when not up close to the jeans, so even as-is, they would be perfect for an authentic 1980s costume!
