Description: CHEROKEE Vintage NATIVE AMERICAN Honeysuckle SPLINT Miniature BASKET Colorful #5 This is a nicely handmade Honeysuckle Basket by the Cherokee Tribe. The shape and small size is great and is a nice classic example of this type of basket- it is vintage and is signed on the base Cherokee1990. It is a fine example of a nice miniature or very small Cherokee Basket. It is made of 3 hues of honeysuckle vine- light natural, tan and dark brown- which gives it a very nice look. It also has a really colorful trim or accent of red on the rim. The basket is in very nice condition and is a miniature or small basket. See all photos for your review of condition. It measures approx 2.25" tall to rim and approx 4.75"-5" to top of handle. It measures approx. 2.5" diameter at base (hard to measure exactly- just an estimate) and from 2.5"-3" diameter at top rim- it is not precisely round but more of an oval- a lot of these miniature baskets are made with these type of inexact dimensions. This will make a very nice addition to your Basket Collection .
