Description: A lovely pair of vintage possibly antique Chelsea porcelain figurines of courting couples. Vibrant colors and bocage backgrounds. One lady holds a baby sheep and wears a beautiful wide brim lavendar hat as her male suiter leans in to speak. The other couple appears to be whispering to each other, the lady holds a flower basket and a pair of cuddling doves sit at their feet. Measuring approx. 5"h x 4"w. There is some loss to the leaves on both figurines. There is dust and crazing. Both are stamped on the back with a gold anchor mark. Wonderfully detailed and very charming!
