Description: Offered here is an early charmingly beautiful white work, lace and ribbonwork corset cover or camisole. There are four original mother-of-pearl button closures down the front with hand stitched button holes. There is a wonderfully comfortable set-in waistband whereas most corset covers have drawstring waists. Soft but strong and undamaged Valicience lace trims the neckline and shoulder straps, and pink rose ribbonwork at each strap. Green silk ribbon— original to this corset cover!—threads through the insertion lace ( or beading as often called) across the top and over the straps. The CUT-OUT white work fabric is so lovely.
