Description: My house was built in the 1950s and my bathroom has the pink tile (which is either loved or loathed. I'm in the first camp). I had one vintage Chalk Ware fish in pink that I found at a yard sale. But it was chipped (as most of them are) and the prices for the vintage ones online were too much for me. So I found some molds that were made in the vintage style (some from actual old pieces) and started making my own. I kind of got carried away. Once I had the ones I wanted for my walls, I had a LOT left over. Some painted and some not painted. I've sold some but I'm tired of tripping over the box of them. For Unpainted Pieces: Plaster of Paris is a porous material and must be sealed for paint to properly adhere. Spray the piece in an even coat on both the back and the front in a well ventilated area. Make sure to let one side dry completely before you turn the piece. You can use an inexpensive spray paint in clear - I prefer a matte finish for the initial spray. I then use acrylic paints. When you have finished, let it dry completely and then use put a final clear coat on. I prefer a high gloss spray, but any will work. Chalk Ware is extremely fragile. I'll do my best to pack them so that they will arrive safely. If it does break in transit, please contact me and send me a quick photo of it and I'll immediately refund your entire purchase price - including shipping.
