During the 2000's, the CFLPA started nominating and creating their own CFL All-star team. In 2008, they also decided to start creating a VERY LIMITED EDITION CFLPA All-star football card set. The series vary from 27 to 30 cards. Extreme Sports Cards, in Montreal, Quebec created the sets from 2008 to 2011. As far as I am aware, there was no set created in 2012. Upper Deck, in California, USA took over these small CFLPA sets in 2013 and have continued through the 2019 CFL season ****Each year these sets are ONLY distributed to the CFL Players Association, with generally each player on the All-star team receiving a small number of sets. The CFLPA Executive also receive a small amount each season. Thus, these are some of the rarest CFL cards ever produced. As little as 250 sets produced per season.
