SIGNED: This book is signed by both Authors, as seen on the title page image that has both signatures in blue ink. I compared these signatures to other confirmed signatures. I believe these to be accurate, but I do not have any validation that says so, so I am pricing this lower than I would if I had validated proof that these signatures were real. Do your research, your call. CONDITION: I believe (MY PERSONAL OPINION) that this book is in "Very Good" to "Like New" condition, as far as eBay defines standards on condition. That said, I ask you to confirm the condition for yourself, as it is really up to you how you classify it, since purchasing used books is subjective with your opinions on condition being your own. PACKAGING: I sometimes get questions about why I charge a bit more money for shipping, and the answer really shows up at your door. All of that costs a few bucks extra, in addition to the cheaper shipping options. I try to keep things as cheap as I can, but that is why the costs are a little higher, and will continue to be so. PRICING: I am pricing this book based on the fact that it is a SIGNED 1st Edition & 1st Printing, because it is in great shape overall particularly considering it is 11 years old this year, and lastly because people are hanging onto their early edition/printed books, making these early printings more and more challenging to find in any kind of good condition, let alone the condition this one is in. This book would be a really nice piece to have in any 1st edition Lincoln Child or Douglas Preston collection, or would be a real gem to a general library or collector. My books move quickly!
