This is a very rare large volume ( Almost 22” by 14”!) and considered one of great 19th century works on skin diseases. The book is in French. Cover has leather binding complete note loose on lower section,boards are covered with marbled papers.Marbled end pages. This example is complete,with all 60 original plates and pages. It also has a extra illustration from another contemporary work on the subject bound in it. (This is shown in picture 10.) Note some condition issues- this volume has a water stain on the upper quarter throughout the book. Note foxing,spotting and discoloration of pages. Plates are numbered, and in a few instances are not in proper numerical order. Plate number 59 was at some time separated into two pieces,bottom half of print now loose but present.
