Description: OK, a few years ago, I found this knife by a brook in the woods. It was rusty and only a few leather washers were left on the handle. It sat under my bench for a while. When I finally got around to do something with it, I saw someone had tried cut a bolt or padlock with the blade near the cross guard. So I removed the rust, then removed the metal until the profile you see was left. I took the pommel off and got a bunch of leather washers and epoxyed them together and put it all back together. It is a Cattaraugus 225Q WW2 vintage knife, with the curve I call it Bolo style now, and I like this better than the original blade shape. The blade is sharp and holds a sharp edge. The blade is 5 7/8" long, 10 1/2" long overall. The sheath is kind of clunky, but it will serve the knife, my first time. I polished all the metal and honed a sharp edge. I did not take before pictures. Maybe the next knife I bring back from the dead. It will ship at 1 1/2 pounds from zip code 01607.,
