Description: Published in Paris. This book is in French. Quarter leather with attractive patterned endpapers front and rear. The book may have been part of some kind of library – there is a sticker on the spine – see photo. Stamps on the title page which show through to other side – see photos 3 and 4. And a small card holder attached at the back – see final photo. There are no other marks in the book. Clean throughout. There is a little bit of damage to the bottom front corner of the front endpaper – see 3rd photo. Although there are some foxing spots and browning of pages – generally the pages are clean. There is a ribbon page marker. The book measures roughly 18cm by 12cm and is solidly bound with no missing, detached or loose pages. A great original early edition of this book. I have available (not listed on eBay) 2 other books by this author. An 1863 edition of L’Homme Spirituel Volume 2 and an 1875 edition of L’Homme Religieux Volume 4. Both books are in French.
