Size : 17" x 21" including the margin. Framed: 26.5" x 30 " Housed in an antique frame with a new matte and period glass. Signed L. R. , but I can nor make out the signature. It is dated 1900 under that matte. Removed the old newspaper backing which was dated 1899. The Castel was built in 123 AD on the Tiber River in Parco Adriano, Rome and became a source of interest to artists around the world at the turn of the 20th c. when most renditions were painted. This is a water color on paper. Very good condition with minor toning and foxing. Framed and backed with acid free board. Good to go now ! Frame shows wear and some losses , but with good appeal.
