Description: Grinder/Stuffer-Offered is an antique cast iron sausage grinder/stuffer marked "Patented March 15, 1859-12". Body is 6" long x 5" wide with exit spout. Has two meshing spiral rollers that apparently grind & stuff. Between the rollers is a knife blade that adjusts up & down by two thumb screws on the bottom. Thumb screws & blade are quite functional. One of the rollers has a small chip on one of the spiral flutes on the inlet end. As so often found on these, one of the 4 legs is broken off & the other end of it has a chip out. There is no handle that would fit on the 5/8" shaft of one of the rollers. Top is hinged with a flip lever lock. A very old piece that is clean but showing a lot of rust pitting, fully operable.Buy with confidence!
