Description: This is an official original Casio PT-87 synth with rhythm accompaniment & interchangeable ROM cartridges, set of 5 vintage booklets & vintage soft carry case. This synth works great! Works with 10 AA Batteries, while I haven’t plugged in a power plug recently, I’m sure it works from wall power with the correct power cord (not included). ALSO, one coil is greenish from some rust, but unit plays fine, you may want to clean the coil at some point. Unit has a very distinct personality & sound, great for treatments, leads & nostalgia. It’s very analog-ish in that if yu leave batteries with little energy in the unit, it tends to make the sounds tweek a bit, like my old Roland 606 did the same thing, it’s like a warble or pitch bend but more fun sounding lol This unit comes with 2 ROM cartridges the extra one has some famous tunes! Greatest love of all by Whitney Houston, what’s love got to do with it by Tina Turner, overjoyed by Stevie Wonder, and rhythm of the night by DeBarge. Unit also comes with a free soft carrying case by “Music Network” & by the looks of the bag, I’ll say it’s also pretty “vintage” as the logo is definitely ‘80’s style lol the bag is sturdy, sturdy, and has no visible or construction flaws, it was built to last! Unit also comes with 5 pristine original tutorial booklets (in a series), as well as the units original operational manual. All in pristine condition.
