This may be one of the more unique and rare fully licensed Star Wars / Princess Leia shirt designs to exist. One could only purchase this shirt if one happened to go to Carrie Fisher’s one woman play “Wishful Drinking” and bought while at that exact performance Broadway or touring. Through a mutual contact, when Carrie Fisher was alive we bought and now own all the merchandise (shirts & prints) for Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking Broadway & traveling show. That means the only place to buy these shirts is from us through this set of auctions for various shirt sizes. This is FULLY LICENSED PRODUCT from Lucasfilm (see photos) and is unique not only for its rarity as mentioned above, because it will likely be the last time you will see Star Wars Princess Leia officially licensed in any avant guard, more adult or edgy way now that Disney owns the Star Wars franchise. They are certainly never going to make merchandise with Princess Leia with alcohol and drug pills. In fact, to get this licensed at all, we were told that it was a direct phone call between Carrie Fisher & George Lucas that was later formalized by their respective business people. The red shirt design for "Wishful Drinking" is incredibly rare, but this black shirt Slave Leia design is even more rare. When we bought the stock, the vast majority was the red shirt design. Clearly the big seller during the shows run was this Slave Leia design. I have very few of these left. Between the small amount I originally got and the VERY small amount I have left these are incredibly rare and the reason they are more than the red shirt design. If the shirt size isn't an exact fit this is rare enough to just hang as a collectable on its own. This listing is for the Slave Leia, martini and pills design on the black shirt We have two designs up on eBay. A classic "A New Hope" Leia on a red shirt and Slave Leia on a black shirt. This listing is for one size ONLY. We have other sizes of both red and black designs. My eBay auctions have X-Small, XL and 2XL for the "A New Hope" Leia red designs and 2XL and 3XL sizes for the black Slave Leia designs. We only bought what Carrie originally made. The company the shirts are printed on is American Apparel Condition: new. These shirts are in unsold, mint, unwashed, completely new condition same as when they were made. These are the unsold stock of her play that was left at the end of the plays run. So, they have never been worn or used. They were being stored in Carrie's garage in clean, sealed plastic boxes. This means that while they are old enough to be a collectable and almost old enough to get a driver’s license (2008!), they are still new and in unsold mint / new quality. In other words, when you hold them, they have that new, never been washed feel and smell. Shirts will ship via USPS. There was never any packaging to what is for sale is JUST the shirt itself.
