Description: I have for sale an 1855 $20.00 proof note for the Bank of Commerce of Putnam County that was located in Carmel, New York. The note is graded by Paper Money Guaranty as about uncirculated 62. This proof has an internal tear at the bottom right corner. On the reverse it is stamped PROPERY OF AMERICAN BANK NOTE CO.
