The conical burr grinder creates more uniformly sized coffee grounds than a blade grinder, for a better brew. The grind size is adjustable to suit your preferred flavors that you want to extract from the coffee beans. An included aftermarket stainless steel brew basket doesn't absorb the aromatic coffee oils like a paper filter, for more flavor finding its way to your cup. The stainless steel brew basket is also reusable, so you never run out of filters. A chute on the top allows for pre-ground coffee to bypass the grinder. Flavored whole-bean coffees are not recommended to be put in the grinder, as they are more susceptible to clogging. The water reservoir in the back of the machine holds up to 10 cups of water. The stainless carafe is double walled to keep your coffee hot. A pause mechanism stops the coffee from dripping out of the brew basket when the carafe is removed.
