Contains 9 original etchings by Hermann Kätelhön, who after the First World War in the 1920s became a sought-after, supported and frequently commissioned resident artist for the mining companies in the Ruhr area. The etchings show portraits of important mining leaders as well as various views of mines and blast furnaces in the Ruhr area. - Kätelhön was a German realistic draftsman and graphic artist from the Willingshauser painter's colony. He is particularly known for his numerous graphics of people and landscapes of the Schwalm in Willingshausen.
