Description: This pre-owned vintage video film camera is a Canon Auto Zoom 518 Super 8 that is in great condition! It features the Canon C-8 zoom system with a clean lens in good condition. It also comes with a Canon branded hard case with shoulder strap to store the camera, a Hoya 1A Skylight filter, lens hood, lens caps and Kodak Kodachrome Super 8 Movie Cartridge that was used for functional testing (cannot be developed). The camera has been partially tested with a video to show that most key functions are working. The camera runs when triggered on both the normal and slow motion settings. The Auto Zoom buttons are working as they should. The shutter and film reels are working as well. The light meter was not tested due to lack of the correct batteries. An image of the battery area for the light meter button cells is shown and may contain some light corrosion. It has not been film tested, but from the functional test the camera seems mechanically sound. There are some marks, nicks and scratches on the camera body from previous use, so please check the images for the condition of the body. The hard case also shows some wear from. use with scratches and marks. The camera takes 4 AA batteries for the zoom and shutter reel functions, and 2 1.35V button cell batteries for the light meter (untested). There will be no batteries included with the camera.
