Description: Candle Snuffer Wick Trimmer Scissors Underplate Sheffield Plate English Sheffield silver plated candle snuffer & wick trimmer scissors with underplate. Scissors are decorated with floral rosette, foliate patterns and shell motif. Underplate has gadrooned border. This wonderful set measures: tray is 8 7/8" long and 4" wide, the scissors are 6 7/8" long. There is a small dent on the tray, a couple of small pits, minor wear to the plating on the scissors. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition, having use marks consistent with age and normal use, with no monograms, removals, repairs or modifications, make this an especially attractive offering.
