Description: Callisia Fragrans- The False BromeliadThis is a wonderful indoor/outdoor plant that has taken the look of a Bromeliad. One of the hardest plants to kill in our collection, to say the least. These beauties can go for months in the hot Florida sun without water! They are frost tender, and must be protected or brought indoors. In bright light they get a beautiful burgundy color mix in their leaves, & can be grown in the ground, but look wonderful in a hanging basket. They reproduce very well by trailing offsets, and have very little root system. They do tend to shed leaves while getting established, which is very normal. When watered this plant can get of good size, no known pests & very low maintenance. In this offer you will get one good size plant and any babies that may be attached at time of shipment. We are The Plant Attraction. We are a registered nursery with the Florida Department of Agriculture, and have been offering plants and seeds here now for a number of years with many returning customers, making many gardening friends along the way. For complete transparency we include payment processing & related fees in our shipping/handling cost.If you would like us to discount multiple items for shipping, just email us right BEFORE paying. We only ship on Monday and Tuesday, so plants will be received before the weekend. Plants will be shipped with some moist soil wrapped in moist paper towel and bagged. No pot is included. Shipping plants can sometimes cause stress, & should recover quickly, please be aware of this. Florida Department of Agriculture #48001791 Thank you for looking!
