This is a solid brass buckle with detailed artwork and (2) ribbon areas, made by Award Design Medals back in the 1970s. The buckle is in pretty nice condition, as shown in the photos it does have some patina, and some minor wear and tear from age or use. The ribbons have not been engraved. This buckle measures approximately 3-3/4" x 2-7/8", it fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and it weighs about 4.2 oz.
