Description: Offered at my asking price is a refurbed, calibrated Tek 2465ACT scope with instructions I'll email you as a pdf as soon as I learn your email (eBay won't let us exchange emails until after a purchase). Comes with 30 days right of exchange/store credit. I am willing to pick a low 2922 hours unit for you for $90 more. I am also willing to extend guaranty to 6 months (my parts & labor, your roundtrip shipping) for $100 more. If offered a guaranty extension at checkout by some ebay partner - I'd decline it ! I doubt they know scopes). Please don't offer less than my asking price. If you offer less than, you are consenting to get a 2465A without the CT options package which you can get that by just seeking out my other 2465A listings (starting at $667). The CT options include the frequency counter (useful) and the GPIB (fairly useless on analog scopes). The frequency counter on this 350MHz scope is only specd to 150MHz and "falls of a cliff" at about 200MHz (Tek is hinting a 350MHz is best used upto about 150MHz). 2465A is predecessor of 2465B and successor of 2465. 2465 did not have auto-scaling which is present on 2465A. 2465B added some auto-measures which 2465A does not have. Bare 2465A cost $6500 new when made from 1986 to 1988, but you can get it here for a tiny fraction, working fine. 2465A is a well designed 4 channel 350MHz bandwidth portable analog package from the repairable era (newer TDSs, Agilents, Keysights, Rigols, Owons,.. are not as repairable). It is more reliable and better performing than 475, 475A, 485, and 2465 that you might find (and compare to) on ebay. Most scope probes you may already have should work with this scope. Examples of suitable probes are Tek: P6101, P6106, P6109, P6062, P6063, P6131, P6133, P6136, P6137 (these are widely available among eBay listings; sometimes even from me). Photos are of low hours serial # B011138, the others are also very nice. Screenshots tend to be fuzzier than outdoor photos, but CRT is bright and crisp. First photo shows 2922 hours. 2nd shows passing diagnostics. 3rd shows leading edge of a 1MHz square wave whose risetime (of the generator coupled with that of the scope) reads about 1.14nS, consistent with the capability of a 350MHz scope, into CH1. 4th shows same into CH2. This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 5th shows a 20Vpp 1KHz signal correctly measured for amplitude with cursers. I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable scopes Tek made. 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Please keep in mind if buying another's 2465A, that chances are, regardless of price, almost certain theirs may have problems. I sell them because I fix them, others sell them because they need fixing. It simply isn't reasonable to expect a scope will have lasted 30+ years without accumulating some issues that a seller may or may not be aware of. One common problem after 30+ years is that the Li battery is way overdue for replacing, but hasn't been, unless you're buying "refurbed" by me. (Yes, I replaced its Li battery with 5V backup applied so as to not erase NVRAM data). Ebay as a large e-commerce site, now collects sales tax for many of the 50 States. I have no control over that and I don't charge sales tax on my own out-of-California sales. You get a 30 day right of return (exchange or store credit) provided you don't breach tamper seals, return everything in same shape as received, pack it as well as I, and pay for all shipping. I cannot offer cash refunds because Ebay & Paypal differ in their definition of "full refund". One considers it all you paid, the other considers it all I got, but under the first, I'd have to go "into the hole" to return taxes and fees I never see, and I won't. Another reason for no cash refunds is that in a small business money coming in gets spent almost as soon as it arrives. If you are outside USA, shipping by public Airmail is not available since it does not satisfy Ebay tracking and delivery confirmation requirements. Also please ignore Ebay's excluded countries list as I had not picked them. We can use DHL, FEDEX, or UPS (Fedex usually gives me lowest rates) and Ebay's calculator sometimes is greatly wrong not in your favor... Can ask me for a quote (and please include your address) or you can have it travel on your account with any of the 3 by selecting "local pickup" option. If it is not shown, ask for me for a revised invoice before paying. If you are using a foreign Ebay site, price may show higher than on US Ebay site because they may be adding duty and VAT based on my BIN price. Don't expect Ebay to help you reduce declared value to reduce your tax. If you want lower tax, we have to figure out how to lower Ebay price without cutting my pay (it is possible by splitting into 2 payments). Always ask such questions before you pay. BUY more than 1 INCENTIVE: If you pay my asking price, I will offer you a 10% DISCOUNT on subsequent items bought from me (this means it may serve you well to first buy a cheaper item like a probe, a pouch, or even a spare fuse). When/once you buy a cheaper item first, please indicate you want the discount on this scope, and I'll enable it for you. HURRY INCENTIVE: If you buy it at my asking price today, I will add a Tek 10:1 probe FREE. You may still want to buy 1 first to save 10% on the scope and wind up with 2. If picking up locally, I'm willing to substitute a Tek scope cart (carts are impractical to ship).
