Description: Sourced from Ojuela Mine, Mapim, Durango, Mexco These fantastically formed crystalline Calcite and beautifully bladed needles of Hemimorphite lay upon a black bubbly bed of botryoidal Plattnerite, Goethite and Golden Limonite. The Calcite and Hemmimorphite crystals on each specimen have a clean and pristine aesthetic quality to them. An intriging feature in paticular is that the Calcite mostly forms Hexagonally, yet a couple of the specimens we have available reveal micro rhombohedral formations. The exceptionally complex structure of each crystallized layer adds a great amount of depth, detail and character while also making the Plattnerite, Goethite and Limonite matrix on certain specimens very mesmerising to view under a microscope!
