HN Italy 833. Areas of warm brown toning. The Taras Didrachm with the wheel design is quite rare, and seldomly come up for auction. This particular piece is one of the finest in the world, and has the most detailed die I have ever seen throughout my thorough research. The beautiful bordered and beaded rim, and beautiful intricate detail on the reverse helm make this coin truly unique. The pricing is on par with some of the finest specimens sold, and this piece has previously seen two major auctions, and been part of at least two major collections. This coin is currently the centerpiece of my ancient coin collection, and I am looking for a fine new home for it. It is truly one of my favorite coins holding a special place in my heart, and this piece has been a honor to own. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me, I welcome all inquiries!
