Description: Cabinet Card, Two Women with Bicycles, photographed in the Bonbrake Studio, Taylorville, IL, c.1900. The two women seem to be dressed almost identically with white blouses and dark skirts. They both wear small brimmed, crumpled looking hats. One is standing, the other is seated. Both bikes are men's models, so it is likely these were not their bikes, but rather props provided by the photographer. The cabinet card is in fair condition. Issues include: A faded or overexposed image, a horizontally diagonal crease about the middle of the card. Corners were round corner cut originally; the lower right corner has a small chip. Back side has stains and wear, and of course the same crease as on the obverse. The mounting card is medium dark grey in color, and the photographer's info is either printed or foil stamped in silver. Be sure to check out my other items listed. I am regularly listing more such things. This is a no reserve auction. International shipping may require a bit more on the postage part.
