Cabane de Zucca x Dolmen laboureur French workwear coverall jacket, size 1 (S/M)

Description: For sale here is a collaboration piece between Cabane de Zucca and the Dolmen label. Cabane de Zucca has a reasonably long history in Japan, going back to the late 1980s. Their parent company is A-net, the same company that produces Issey Miyake actually. They are sort of like a cousin label to Issey Miyake, often aiming for a somewhat younger demographic. Dolmen, by contrast, is a French workwear label dating back to the 1920s. Being a collaboration we have a pretty unique piece here. Dolmen, like their contemporaries like Laboureur or Vetra, produce exclusively in France and specialize in coveralls and work wear. We have a coverall here too, but the twist comes in the collar. Dolmen usually manufactures classically “French” coveralls with a more standard collar. This is more of a half-collar which can be worn fully or partially buttoned – I personally prefer leaving the top button open. It is one of those intuitive differences that makes sense, yet sets it apart from the pack. Other details are kept typically practical, with two large patch pockets on the sides, and exterior chest pocket, interior chest pocket, and tonal buttons. A Dolmen tag is also on the chest pocket. As noted, this particular model is unique to Cabane de Zucca and as such much more difficult to find compared to Dolmen’s standard range (which is already difficult enough to find on its own). These pieces are now completely sold out as well, but get it here at a fraction of the retail price. Size is labeled a 1, fitting between a small and a medium in my opinion, like a somewhat loose small or a slim medium. I measure the chest at 20.5”, shoulders at 17.5”, length at 27” and sleeves at 24”. The jacket comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in France.
