This sculpture is the sixth release from the Legendary West Premier Collection. Design #LWP6. Made in the USA (see photo). It was issued in March 1992 and sold out on June 1992. It is no longer in production. This stunning piece is made from a combination of Mixed Media such as Bronze, Fine Pewter, Brass, Gold Vermeil, and Patinas. The sculpture is set in a black marble base and has a felt bottom. The marble base shows the handwritten signature of C.A. Pardell (see photo). Sculpture measures approx: (9 in H X 12 in L X 8 in W) and weighs about 13 lbs., 4 oz. Certificate of Ownership is included (see photo). I am the original owner. The sculpture has been displayed behind glass in a smoke-free environment. It has been well cared for and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!! Sculpture will be securely packaged, insured, and shipped by UPS Ground. Story of Cheyenne Warrior Roman Nose portrayed in sculpture: As a young man, he was given a special war bonnet with eagle feathers by a medicine man. He was told that the war bonnet would protect him from his enemies' arrows and bullets, provided he obeyed strict taboos and carried out certain rituals. For example, he was warned that if he ate anything touched by metal he would be killed in his next battle. Later in life (September 1868), he inadvertently ate something touched by metal and, as predicted, Roman Nose was killed in his next battle.
