Description: C4 Corvette Seat Track Repair Kit.--- with an 9 page instruction sheet and a separate sheet for replacing the gears. This kit is designed for the large shaft version. It can be used with the small shaft version (very early C4's) with some modifications to the F-R gear shaft. The C4 power seat track has a history of failure. These parts will replace the commonly failed original parts. These are new, not salvaged out of salvaged units.--- And made in the USA. I will print these out as they are ordered. Usually in 2-3 days. When the original unit fails, the seat will not move, but you will hear noises that sound like stripped gears or a clicking sound. If your gears are actually stripped and damaged, this kit will now include the 3 gears. The damaged gears will have to be removed and the new ones pressed on. Replacing the parts is not a difficult job, but can be very frustrating and very "fiddly". The instructions will show you how to do it.
