Description: c1940's TWO GEMEX "THE CAPTAIN" MILITARY CHROME STEEL VINTAGE CUFF BANDS Condition is as new and used. Shipped with USPS Ground Advantage. Offered for your consideration are two chromed stainless steel bands recently rescued from a closed watchmaker's estate and manufactured by the Gemex manufacturing corporation circa 1940's. One of the bands is stamped "The Captain"; the other, while not similarly marked, is of the exact same style and composition. The band marked as above shows signs of prior use, i.e. scratches and finish wear, yet remains quite presentable. It has a total maximum length of approximately 5 3/4th inches with about 16mm ends. The other band is slightly longer measuring about 5 13/16th also with 16mm ends and is in very good condition with little signs of prior use save for the standard fine scratches and scuffs associated with long term storage. That band is also marked "Medium", likely referring to its length. Both bands can be adjusted to a compact length of as small as 5 1/8th inches. These stainless steel bands would make an exceptional accompaniment to your special vintage military timepiece.
