Drawings such as these were done by architectural students as part of their education, leading to RIBA membership. The aspiring architect in this case is E. Julian White, who studied at the School of Architecture at University College, London in the 1920s. Little is known of his subsequent career in architecture, although he appears to have worked in the north of England, possibly in Leeds.With a strong visual appeal, such sketches look impressive once framed and hung prominently. key words:
